Biography

Elsaid M M Zahran is an academic and researcher in civil and environmental engineering, with expertise in sustainable infrastructure, waste-derived materials, and circular-economy approaches for the built environment. He is currently based at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, where he contributes to teaching and research in construction materials, environmental systems, and engineering sustainability. His work focuses on developing and assessing innovative materials and technologies that reduce the environmental footprint of construction, including the reuse of industrial by-products and waste streams. Dr. Zahran has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and has collaborated with interdisciplinary teams on applied studies linking engineering practice with environmental policy and resource efficiency. He regularly serves as a peer reviewer for international journals and conferences and is committed to supporting high-quality research dissemination and impactful academic exchange in waste management and recycling.
