Biography
Engy Elhaddad is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries (NIOF), Egypt, specializing in ecotoxicology and environmental chemistry. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from TU Darmstadt University, Germany, and brings over two decades of experience in water treatment, nanotechnology, photocatalysis, and aquatic pollution. Dr. Elhaddad has completed multiple international postdoctoral fellowships and has taught and supervised numerous postgraduate students in Germany and Egypt. She has authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications and participated in high-level workshops and conferences globally. As an active member of professional organizations such as the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Arab Scientists Forum, Dr. Elhaddad is committed to advancing sustainable practices in environmental science. Her research focuses on innovative methods for wastewater remediation and pollution mitigation. She is also a frequent keynote speaker and scientific committee member for various international forums.
