Biography

Saleh Almasoudi is a researcher in Environmental Health Sciences at the University of South Carolina and an active member of the Center for Environmental Nanoscience and Risk (CENR). His work focuses on the environmental and public health impacts of wildfire emissions, particularly the behavior and toxicity of environmentally persistent free radicals (EPFRs) in post-fire ash and soil. Dr. Almasoudi specializes in environmental chemistry, risk assessment, and the application of advanced analytical techniques such as electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy to assess contaminant exposure pathways. He has contributed on multidisciplinary projects addressing disaster resilience and pollution control.
