Biography

Wang, Jei-Pil - Based on my knowledge and experience I am now working at Department of Metallurgical Engineering of Pukyong National University as a Professor. I am conducting various research projects in the field of resource recycling. In particular, I am focusing on the development of recycling technology for electric vehicle batteries, and have developed a technology to recover lithium, cobalt, and nickel from waste cathode active materials using an eco-friendly pyrometallurgical process. Recently, research is also being conducted to efficiently recover rare earth elements from Nd magnets in electric vehicle motors.
