Bio Based and Resource Efficiency

Biobased products are those primarily made from substances derived from biomass, either occurring naturally or synthesized, or products created through processes that use biomass. Resource efficiency is valuable not only for supporting sustained economic growth but also for reducing environmental impacts. This, in turn, enhances well-being, particularly the quality of life that comes from living in a healthy and attractive environment, beyond just economic factors.
