Renewable Resources and Renewable Energy

Renewable resources include biomass energy (such as ethanol), hydropower, geothermal power, wind energy, and solar energy. Biomass refers to organic materials from plants or animals, such as wood, sewage, and ethanol (which is derived from corn or other plants). Renewable energy is energy collected from resources that are naturally replenished on a human timescale, including sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat.
